My 14-year-old daughter, 16-year-old son, and I started a company to teach them about entrepreneurship during the pandemic, when sports and school were canceled. We design and sell wraps for cornhole boards and have an ecommerce website as well as selling our designs on Etsy. The kids are actively involved in managing web developers, content writers, graphic design contractors and keeping track of orders and shipments. Initially, they were inclined to spend a lot of time on their phones and video games, but after launching a few designs and making some sales, they became more engaged in and interested in the business.
